Chevrolet Avalanche

Another cross-over vehicle from General Motors is the simple yet amazing Chevrolet
Avalanche. Instilled within the vehicle are the power and capabilities of Ford
Explorer Sport Trac, an SUV and Dakota Quad Cab, a pickup. The merging of these
well-known car models produced unique Avalanche features such as the new removable
rear window glass and adjustable interiors to maximize cargo space for flexibility
and heavy-duty tasks.
Chevrolet Avalanche is a six-passenger truck powered by the 295-hp Vortec 5300
for 1500 models and the 320-hp Vortec 8100 for 2500 models. These engines have
been the power source of the longest lasting Chevy trucks. The so-called "ultimate
utility vehicle" features a Convert-a-Cab System built in Mexico to maximize interior
space without being unmanageably long. With this feature, interior space can accommodate
bigger number of passengers by manipulationg the interior devices and equipments.
An extra two or three feet can be achieved by folding the rear seat. The rear
window can even be removed for free-air drive.
