2005 Chevrolet Avalanche

Aggressive and confident - the 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche is a reflection of tougher
future models aimed to dominate the competitive world of cars. The Chevy look
is undeniably shown in its features. Greater protection is given by the lower
gray cladding against everyday bumps, scratches and other hazards. At the back
of the cabin is a distinct sail-shaped feature called a "quarter pillar" that
slants downward to serve as a supporting structure to restore the vehicle's rear
section.
The new model is a four door six passenger full size pickup that comes in two
powerful trims, the 1500 2WD to the 2500 4WD. Standard for Chevrolet Avalanche
1500 is a lighted top box storage compartments that can be locked up for safety
and privacy. Its power comes from a Vortec 5300 V8 SFI engine assisted by a standard
17 inch wheels. Added for this model is an Offroad Package which includes a stronger
Z71 suspension, highly-functional air cleaner, rubberized vinyl floor mats, skid
plates and a locking rear differential.
The recent model is ideal for pulling heavy loads with its powerful trailing
features that includes a tow/haul mode and 4wheel anti-lock brakes. Also included
in the package are trailer hitch platform and a pre-wired seven pin connector.
Standard for all models is an automatic transmission with four-wheel antilock
brakes.
